The Business East Tamaki online Business Directory only contains information provided by those businesses listed for the purpose of promoting their business.
Personal information collected for the Business East Tamaki database is used only for the purpose it was originally provided for including communication and the provision of services, and will not be passed on to any unauthorised party.

Event Refund Policy
Business East Tamaki Events are reserved for Business East Tamaki members only.
Refund policy: Business East Tamaki offers a full refund if the booking is cancelled in writing at least 48 hours before the event. If the cancellation is received after this deadline a refund will not be offered. Business East Tamaki reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrolment or other exceptional circumstances. In such circumstances, all participants will be offered a full refund. If an event is postponed, Business East Tamaki reserves the right to either transfer registration to a new event or issue a full refund.
Third Party Websites Policy
The Web Site may contain links to other web sites hosted by third parties whose privacy practices may differ from us. We do not endorse or make any representations about these third-party websites and will not be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these sites, even if they appear as part of the Web Site. The Personal Information you choose to provide to or that is collected by these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Statement. If you link to or otherwise visit any these third-party websites, please review their respective privacy policies.

ANPR Camera Policy
Business East Tamaki Incorporated (“us” or “we”) provides support services to its business members located in East Tamaki.
A significant concern for members is the security of their premises and personnel from persons using vehicles for purposes which might reasonably affect that security.
Business East Tamaki own a number of ANPR cameras (cameras) to provide greater security for the East Tamaki Business area. We do not have access to the cameras or ANPR system, nor do we receive any information directly from the ANPR System. Nautech Electronics (Nautech) is contracted as a third-party supplier to manage and maintain the ANPR camera system and their ANPR Policy can be accessed here.
The cameras are placed in targeted East Tamaki locations and operate 24/7. The data captured by the cameras is fed directly into a Nautech server and matched against vehicles of interest identified by the Police. If there is a match the information immediately transmits to the Police server. Footage is retained on the Nautech server for 6 months after which it is erased and no matched data is kept by us or Nautech.
The only information captured by the cameras is the registration plate and no personal information or identification is gathered by us or Nautech. However, to the extent that such information is or may be collected, this policy is designed to protect the privacy of individuals and comply with our legal obligations under the Privacy Act 2020 and should be read with our separate privacy policy set out above.
The Business East Tamaki General Manager is responsible for the ANPR cameras and will take responsibility for inquiries including in relation to our privacy policy and regularly review and update the policy with our Executive Committee.
Use of Logo Policy
- Business East Tamaki Inc. members may only use the Business East Tamaki logo on the website for the business that entitles them to membership of Business East Tamaki.
- Business East Tamaki Inc. members may state in words on their website that they are a member of Business East Tamaki.
- Business East Tamaki Inc. does not authorise any other use of the Business East Tamaki logo, including but not limited to promotional material and letterheads
